Days of our Lives' alum Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) and All My Children alum Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery) will be cooking up drama in a new installment of the wildly successful Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film series Murder, She Baked.
The news was announced at this week's Television Critics Association, along with the tease that the pair's new film will air March 26.
"So proud 2 be part of the @hallmarkmovie family!" Sweeney tweeted along with a thank you to Hallmark President and CEO, Bill Abbott, and Hallmark Executive Vice President, Programming and Network Publicity, Michelle Vicary, for the "incredible opportunity."

Sweeney and Mathison are no strangers to working together on the franchise that follows their characters, Hannah Swenson and Mike Kingston, as they solve deadly mysteries. Previous titles include 2015's Murder, She Baked: A Chocolate Chip Cookie Mystery, 2015's Murder, She Baked: A Plum Pudding Murder Mystery, 2016's Murder, She Baked: A Peach Cobbler Mystery, and 2016's Murder, She Baked: A Deadly Recipe. As for their soap history, Sweeney played the part of DAYS' Sami from 1993 to 2015, and Mathison played AMC's Ryan from 1998 to 2011.
