Alison Sweeney has been hard at work with Hallmark Channel since leaving her role as Days of our Lives' Sami Brady, and the Murder She Baked star isn't stopping for rest.
The notorious multitasker has reportedly jumped headfirst into both producing and acting in The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop and Café, a story based on the novel of the same name by Mary Simses that follows a high-powered Manhattan attorney who seeks to fulfill her dying grandmother's wish that she find an old hometown boy granny once loved and deliver him her last letter.
The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop and Café, which is directed by Kristopher Tabori and adapted for the screen by former DAYS, One Life to Live, Guiding Light, The Young and the Restless, and Another World writer Melissa Salmons, also stars Rebecca Staab (ex-April Stevens, Y&R; ex-Elizabeth Barrington, Port Charles).
"Working with @rebeccastaab1 today!" Sweeney tweeted. "So fun."
