Like her cousin, Dinah has gone too far. It will be interesting to see how they write Dinah into Springfield life now that Cassie has dropped the charges against her.

Soaps are a great place to see Men (and Women) Behaving Badly. Lies, deception, cheating spouses, shady business deals - they are all a part of the genre. But when a father blackmails a teenager to keep his daughter's misdeeds hidden - things have really sunk to an all-time low. Poor Joey has to leave Springfield, his family and his love (Tammy) because wacko Lizzie drugged him to make him think they slept together? Huh? What kind of lesson is that to teach your teen? If you have as much money as we do, we can buy your way out of anything - even if you don't like the results?

It's gratifying to see the little brat (Lizzie) get something taken away from her, but she has a long way to go to make me really think positive thoughts about her. Even if GL kills off Phillip, I don't think it'll go to improving her completely selfish attitude. I really hate to like a character so much when the actress (Crystal Hunt) is such a delight every time I see her. But GL has written this little lady with not one redeeming quality for fans to admire about her.

But somehow, I won't feel bad this week when Dinah gets a little treat from Cassie. Like her cousin, Dinah has gone too far. It will be interesting to see how they write Dinah into Springfield life now that Cassie drops the charges. Somehow I can't see her getting an actual job (can you see her applying at "Harley's Angels" with step-mom Blake there?) or doing carpools for kids. Of course, half of Springfield seems to not go to work regularly, so I'm sure they'll manage. I would like to see Dinah and Edmund together - they might bring out the bad in each other.

Speaking of GL baddies, my favorite, Roger Thorpe, is set to re-enter the minds of those in Springfield again. I don't know all that GL has in store, but you can bet the house that I'll be watching VERY carefully to see that they don't mangle this character like they did when they recast Dennis Parlato in the role when Michael Zaslow became ill.

I know that there is a term "kissing cousins" but I think JB is taking it a bit too far with Tammy this week. Surely he knows that the teen is Cassie's daughter - and his first cousin. I can't say that Jonathan first impressions make me picture him at the Lewis Thanksgiving dinner table. He's more abrasive than a brillo pad! Reva will take him down a peg or two - I just know it. But what will happen to poor Sandy? This whole story has me wanting to see what happens down the road. How can both characters co-exist in the same town? I guess only time will tell.

Sitting in my office "listening" to the show, I always have to smile when I hear Ruth's voice. She certainly is a little spitfire! Of course - so is Harley! I just can't wait to see what happens when Phillip learns the truth about her! While I am VERY upset that GL is going to kill him off, I can see where nearly everyone in town could be a suspect. Can't say I'd blame anyone for wanting Phillip out of their lives, the way he is acting of late!

This week looks to bring about some interesting twists for the cast (and fans) to enjoy. Now that I have Tivo, I shouldn't miss an episode! (How did I ever survive without it?). Hopefully the weather will be a little more cooperative so we don't have more pre-emptions. I know my many GL friends all over Florida second that thought! I just hope all of this wacky weather doesn't mean a bad winter, too. I hope all of you that I regularly talk with in the "Sunshine State" are safe and will have your lives returned to normal soon. Hang in there!

Keep the Light Shining and Have a Great Week!
