It looks like casting known names as wedding planners is becoming a bit of a trend for The Young and the Restless.
The CBS soap hired real-life celebrity wedding planner David Tutera to help out with Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Leslie's (Angell Conwell) nuptials, and Caitlyn Jenner's pal Candis Cayne to help with Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Stitch's (Sean Carrigan) wedding shenanigans, and now they've hired The Price is Right model Gwendolyn Osborne-Smith to step in for Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria's (Amelia Heinle) upcoming trip down the aisle.
"The character is more English than I am -- quite proper," the Bath native told Soaps In Depth about Evelyn. "But she's fun and upbeat as well. She's ready for anything!"
Look for Osborne-Smith, who's also starred on shows like Ocean Ave. and Basketball Wife, to appear on the Monday, February 29, episode of Y&R.
