This month brings parties for hosting, marshmallows for toasting, and caroling out in the snow, but none of those holiday hits made it onto this list of soap stars' favorite Christmas traditions. So what exactly did some of the biggest stars from The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless name as their top holiday activities? Read on to find out and then tell us in the comment section below what festive activities you look forward to the most each year.

Ashlyn Pearce (Alexandria Forrester, B&B) "My favorite holiday tradition is staying up until midnight with my sister on Christmas Eve, watching different Christmas movies, our favorite being The Muppet Christmas Carol. As soon as the clock strikes 12:01, we yell 'MERRY CHRISTMAS!' out the window. We've been doing that since we were little kids."

Mishael Morgan (Hilary Curtin, Y&R) "The party and my dad's turkey. That's Christmas to me. No one makes turkey like my dad; it's always huge and juicy. Every Christmas Eve we have a big party with all my friends and family and it's always the best party of the year."

Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton, DAYS) "I like doing lights and the Christmas tree. I'm a big lights guy. I set up a nativity and I do the whole thing. But I just moved, and I'm in a neighborhood that does a lot more decorating than the neighborhood I used to be in. It's a neighborhood where everyone has lights up. So I feel like Chevy Chase a little bit. But I have the right amount of boards and splitters, so I'm good. I'm not going to start any fires!"

Kathleen Gati (Liesl Obrecht, GH) "Coming from a Hungarian background, we always had beigli, these delicious rolled pastries with walnuts and apricot jam or poppy seeds. I'm crying already with nostalgia!"

Scott Elrod (Joe Clark, Y&R) "Simple: Spending time with my family in Colorado over the Christmas holiday. Dad always cooks up an amazing turkey, mom handles everything else, fireplace is raging, and if we are lucky its snowing outside. Something about a home cooked meal and being home."

Guy Wilson (Will Horton, DAYS) "I'm kind of a traditionalist when it comes to the big American holidays. I really like having a big honey glazed ham, and then you can have ham sandwiches afterward. And then for events, I love doing family football games, like touch football, going down to the park and getting out in the crisp weather and some friendly competition with my family. I think that's pretty fun."

Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman, Y&R) "I always hope there's going to be snow. It doesn't always happen, but when it does, that's my favorite thing about Christmas. And the big star that they hang on 5th Avenue in New York. That's my favorite, and I love when they put that thing up."

Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe, GH) "On Christmas Eve we decorate either my 1931 Model A pickup or my 1967 VW Bug with antlers and a red nose and wreaths and then we drive to the neighboring ranches and friends' homes in town and deliver gifts and food treats we made."

Christopher Sean (Paul Narita, DAYS) "The one thing I look forward to each year has always been watching my sister open her presents. She loves loves Christmas and Halloween, and each year, I spend time with her, since those are her favorite holidays."

Karla Mosley (Maya Avant, B&B) "I love the kitchen. I come from a very female heavy family, and my husband's is very male heavy. So I just remember as a kid helping my aunt in the kitchen, and... going there early and helping get those last touches ready and helping clean up, and I still love that. We just hosted our first Thanksgiving at our new home, and my favorite moment was sitting on the kitchen floor with my sister and my niece and a friend who had come over... There's just something about the kitchen; it's the hub. So there's something about that, after all of the food has been eaten, when people are settling down, that quiet moment in the kitchen with the women whom I love."

Robert Scott Wilson (Ben Ridgeway, DAYS) "Being home with family and friends and eating loads of Italian dishes."

Burgess Jenkins (Billy Abbott, Y&R) "We've gone to my uncle's house on Christmas Eve every year since I can remember. Most years we stay up until two or three AM singing carols and eating homemade favorites. It's something that I hope to carry on for my grandkids."

Kristen Alderson (Kiki Jerome, GH) "I celebrate Christmas in the house I grew up in, in Philly. My family and I play The Carpenters' Christmas album and decorate the tree together while singing and dancing to the songs. I always feel like a little kid again."

Jen Lilley (Theresa Donovan, DAYS) "My mom always made so many different kinds of cookies. And on Christmas Eve, we'd go to church and then come home and put our PJs on, and then the whole family would eat all sorts of cookies (chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, peanut butter cup, sugar, ginger snaps, and wedding cookies) while my dad read the Christmas story out of Luke chapter two [from the Bible]. It's a tradition I plan to pass onto my own children (whenever I have kids)."

Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri, GH) "Despite the fact that my Grandma Rose was a spectacular Italian cook, my favorite holiday tradition (shared with my sister and cousin) has got to be the pizza rolls she always made us on Christmas Eve. Yes, the horrible things from the frozen food section. Our best Christmas photos are of my sister and cousin and I in long dresses and shiny shoes smiling with our little plates of pizza rolls (and what appears to be champagne...?)."

Cady McClain (Kelly Andrews, Y&R) "Making and drinking glögg, a hot Scandinavian spiced wine punch with almonds and raisins. Yum!"

Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland, Y&R) "My family and I love the Rankin/Bass Christmas specials (you know, Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, The Year Without a Santa Claus) so it really doesn't feel like Christmas until we've watched them. Also, I'm a sucker for eggnog."

Kassie DePaiva (Eve Donovan, DAYS) "I really look forward to the time between Christmas and New Year's. I have been hosting cousins and siblings up in our Catskills home for the past 15 to 18 years. They come up from Atlanta and Kentucky. And this year, including myself, there will be 17 people. It's kind of a revolving door, depending on when people can come and go, and kids will sleep in sleeping bags if they have to or Aero beds, but it's really fun. It's a ski trip, so people ski, we eat, we drink, we watch movies, we have fun, we sing, we play cards. It's just a really wonderful family tradition, and I look forward to it every single year."

Robert Adamson (Noah Newman, Y&R) "Sleeping!"

Linsey Godfrey (Caroline Spencer, B&B) "I look forward to holidays with my family always, because they know how to relax, and I love that about them. They get up in the morning, whether it be at Christmas or at Thanksgiving, and my mom starts making mimosas and we start eating. And that carries on and at some point everybody takes a nap, and then they get up, and we switch to wine, and we start eating some more, and then we eat. And that's just it: We eat, and then we drink, and then we sleep, and it's just amazing."
