Hot on the heels of the exciting news that One Life to Live star Erika Slezak (ex-Victoria Lord) appears in the new Jeff Daniels film Guest Artist comes word that the fan-favorite daytime alum has booked a guest-starring role on an episode of Blue Bloods.
Slezak took to her official website to share the exciting casting news, writing: "I worked with Len Cariou, who plays retired NYC Commissioner Henry Reagan on the series and Tana Sirois, a wonderful young actress and a dream to work with. Tana plays my granddaughter (not a regular series character)."
She continues: "It was a long but wonderful day and the entire crew, director, John Behring, and the writer, Daniel Truly, were all so terrific and easy and helpful. Just the nicest crew, made me feel so welcome and happy. It was as if I had been back with our lovely people at OLTL, the best ever."
Watch for Slezak's Blue Bloods appearance on Friday, May 3.
Slezak originated the role of OLTL's Victoria Lord in 1971 and played the character until the soap opera went off the air in 2013. She won six Daytime Emmy Awards for her work as the Llanview matriarch and still holds the record for most wins by an actress. Fans haven't have the opportunity of seeing Slezak in many projects after OLTL went off the air, but it seems the actress is slowly getting back into the world of acting. This Blue Bloods appearance follows a 2018 appearance on The Resident.
