Fans have been over the moon upon hearing that Tonja Walker will be returning to General Hospital, and while everyone is still waiting to hear if she'll be reprising the role of Olivia Jerome or playing someone else (which the show's executive producer, Frank Valentini, teased is possible), she took to Facebook Live to express her gratitude to the fans who helped make her return possible.
The video is captioned, "General Hospital fitting today! First time at this studio in 26 years!!" and shows Walker arriving on set.
"I'm so excited, I really can't stand it! I just pulled into the parking lot at General Hospital and got my little parking pass, and I'm really happy," she begins. "I just wanted to share it with you because it's a big deal for me; I haven't been here in 26 years! It's, like, amazing. Really amazing."
She continues. "I want to thank all you fans for the years and years of writing and calling and writing and calling and trying to get me here. It's just, like, totally amazing. So thank you so much, and whatever God wants to happen will happen, you know? If I'm supposed to stay, great; if I'm not supposed to stay, great. It's just a great opportunity, and it's because of you. It really is. And, of course, the writers and Frank Valentini and mainly God [but] your help has just been unbelievable."
