Daytime fans watched Teresa Castillo's Sabrina Santiago brutal murder this week on General Hospital, bringing the actress' four-year run as the character to a sad close.
After the cliffhanger episodes, Castillo took to social media to share a few public goodbyes to fans and the creative team at GH.
"4 years ago this girl walked into the halls of General Hospital and her life was forever changed," she posted on Instagram. "Thanks to the amazing cast and crew for a fantastic run. And a special thanks to all you incredible die-hard soap fans for showering me with your love. You guys are the best!"
The actress also posted some personal farewell messages to Twitter, the first to the show's former head writer, Ron Carlivati. "Thank you @roncarlivati for creating such a fun character. It was an honor bringing her to life. #GH"

She then gave a shout-out to the show's executive producer, Frank Valentini. "Thank you @valentinifrank for believing in me, for fighting for me and for all your kindness to me over the last 4 years."

And last but not least, she thanked GH's casting director, Mark Teschner, for "finding" her. "I had a blast playing Sabrina," she wrote. "Thank you, thank you. #GH"
Castillo's exit was just one shock to GH fans this week. In addition to losing Sabrina, viewers also learned that Tyler Christopher is not reprising his role as Nikolas Cassadine and Bryan Craig (Morgan Corinthos) has opted out of his contract with the soap (see above).
