Emma Samms (Holly Sutton Scorpio) will be headed back to Port Charles in the coming weeks. The actress will make a guest appearance as part of the storyline that will eventually usher Anthony Geary's Luke Spencer off the show.
Though rumored for several days, Frank Valentini confirmed the news on Twitter. "@EmmaSamms1 is coming back to @GeneralHospital !! Very excited!" Valentini shared.
Samms originated the role of Holly in 1982. After leaving General Hospital in 1985, Samms went on to appear on the primetime soap Dynasty and later starred in the Dynasty spin-off, The Colbys. Samms returned to GH from 1992 to 1993 and made guest appearances in 2006, 2009, and 2012, and 2013.
