Peacocks. Cryogenic chambers. And a lot of guns. It's been quite the run for Miranda Wilson's Megan Hathway. But, like all good things, Megan's time in Salem as come to an end.
Back in 2018, Wilson took to social media when she took note of a Soap Central poll asking if the time was right for Megan to return to Salem. Wilson even created the hashtag "#BringMeganBack."
It took a while, but DAYS did eventually bring Megan back, but that first required a stop on the show's spinoff series, Beyond Salem in 2022. Fans learned in the second season known as Chapter Two -- that Megan had been keeping a supposed dead Bo Brady in a cryogenic chamber. It marked the first time that the actress had played the ne'er-do-well since 1985.
Wilson's alter ego then made the jump to the DAYS mothership in March 2023 where she's been causing her own DiMera brand for the past four months or so.
Of her time in Salem, Wilson said, "Satisfying and fulfilling are the wrong words. It's purposeful in a way that's so expansive. I couldn't have asked for a more magnificent storyline."
Wilson made her final appearance at least for now on July 6, when Megan made was can only be called her great escape.
