Hot on the heels of the news that Days of our Lives has let Jordi Vilasuso (Dario Hernendez) go comes word that James Lastovic (Joey Johnson) may have been cut from the NBC soap opera, as well.
Rumors began swirling about the actor having taped his final scenes back in March, and while no official word has been given, his mother, Lucienne Lastovic, fanned the flames when she tweeted -- and then later deleted -- a confirmation that her son's contract was not renewed.
Lastovic joined DAYS as Patch and Kayla's son in 2015. He went on to earn a Daytime Emmy nomination for the 2016 storyline in which Joey killed Tamara Braun's Ava.
A rep for DAYS has yet to respond to our request for comment.
