Big news for recently returned Days of our Lives' star Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez): the actress has joined the cast of ABC's Mistresses.
TV Source magazine reports that the Florida native will be appearing on a recurring basis.
"I want to let everybody know that I'm doing a recurring role on ABC's Mistresses," Banus told the publication. "Season 4 starts soon [May 30] and I'm going to be on there quite a few times, so you can catch me on there."
She also adds that DAYS fans shouldn't worry about her status with the NBC soap, as there's plenty of Gabi material ahead now that the character has started a romance with Casey Moss's J.J. "What you are starting to see with JJ and Gabi is a beautiful love story that started because two people [were] really hurt from something really painful, which is death," she previews. "They are mourning in different ways but they are coming together and loving each other in the safest way they possibly can."
