Last October, it was announced that Days of our Lives was looking to cast a slew of new faces, and it looks like at least one from the bunch will soon be making a Salem appearance.
According to multiple sources, the soap has cast Scream: The TV Series star Connor Weil in the role of Mark McNair, described in last year's casting call as "a gorgeous and rebellious high school jock whose father is a strict judge."
Weil, who had his first daytime stint as a bully on The Young and the Restless back in 2013, took to Instagram to share that he'll be making his DAYS debut in May. "The DAYS grow ever fewer to my appearance on #daysofourlives next month," he wrote along with a photo taken by Brad Everett. "@bradley206 and #dreamloudofficial are helping me ramp up."
As for whether or not the NBC soap has gone ahead with casting for the additional five roles announced in October remains to be seen, so stay tuned to Soap Central for more information if/when it becomes available.
