Wally Kurth has recently had the fortune to appear on both General Hospital as Ned Ashton and Days of our Lives as Justin Kiriakis, but his days of straddling two soaps are coming to an end. The actor took to Twitter to reveal that he'll soon be leaving GH's Port Charles to take on DAYS' Salem full time.
"I did sign a contract with #Days. Which will require me to leave #GH," he wrote. "It's bittersweet I can't do both."
Though GH has put Kurth to good use over the past few months in a story in which Ned pretended to be the father of Olivia's (Lisa LoCicero) baby so that Julian (William deVry) would be kept in the dark, DAYS hasn't really written much for the actor. However, it seems his NBC alter ego will be coming back to the forefront just in time to join the brewing triangle that's forming in light of Adrienne's (Judi Evans) growing attraction to Lucas (Bryan Dattilo).
"There's great stuff coming up on #GH for #NIV in the coming weeks," Kurth teases of his Port Charles exit. "I start back airing on #Days in May and continue on."
