It's been years since Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger have worked together on The Bold and the Beautiful, but that doesn't mean they don't see each other every day. The pair wed eight years ago on March 22, 2016, and they are happy to celebrate this incredible milestone.
"Happy Anniversary babe!!! Jeez, it's been 8 years??! Already?!? HOW??! Holy crapola!!" Brooks wrote on Instagram next to a series of photos of him and Kruger through the years, including wedding snaps. "It feels like it was just yesterday when I got a phone call while taking your garderbelt off (see last video slide! ... I'll wait..) (Just kidding! It's the second to last slide haha)
"Anywho, Thank you for giving me 2 of the most beautiful daughters, inside and out, that any man could ever ask for!! And for my beautiful big bad boy @chanceypantsbrooks!! And for being my partner in all this crime!!!
"I love you @kellylkruger!! And here's to 80 more!!!"
Kruger also took the opportunity to post some photos and wish her husband a happy anniversary -- and Brooks had a response to the last pic.
"Happy Anniversary to my better half 8 years of marriage, 2 kids, a foster fail pup (more to come) and a ton of adventures. As someone who was pretty jaded when it came to marriage you have made me a believer. Excited to do another 80 of these. Oh and sorry for the last pic. Wrong husband...."
The last photo in her little slide show is of a man who is definitely not Brooks, but Brooks had a little laugh with it, saying, "No no, that's me in the last pic too! 😂🤣 Happy Anniversary babe! Crazy it's been 8 years already!! To many more!"
Brooks made a soap name for himself playing Max Brady on Days of our Lives from 2005 to 2010, winning a Daytime Emmy for the role in 2009. He went on to play Wyatt Spencer on B&B from 2013 to 2024. Kruger played Mackenzie Browning on The Young and the Restless off and on from 2002 to 2019. She also recurred as a publicist named Eva on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2014 to 2021. The couple shares two little girls, Gemma and Everleigh.
In February, news broke that Brooks's series Blue Mountain State will be getting a sequel, and Brooks is set to star.
