Feast your eyes on the face of The Bold and the Beautiful's newest castmember, Pierson Fodé, who will now be playing the part of Thomas Forrester.
As Soap Central previously reported, the CBS show began looking for an actor to take over the role of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor's (Hunter Tylo) son earlier this spring. Having previously been played by hunky actors like Drew Tyler Bell and Adam Gregory, the shoes were pretty big to fill. But apparently, the powers that be feel they've met Thomas' match.
"It's a real life-changer, and I'm really excited about it," Fodé told Soap Opera Digest about landing the role. "I read with Linsey [Godfrey, Caroline Spencer]. She's a real sweetheart. We had instant chemistry and we clicked right away."
Though new to daytime, Fodé does have previous television experience. In 2014, he played the role of Brooks in Jessie, and in 2013, he played the role of Blazer in the miniseries Storytellers. He also made an appearance on iCarly, which is his first TV credit.
As B&B fans may recall, Thomas left the canvas last year after Eric (John McCook) decided Rick (Jacob Young) could run Forrester Creations better than Thomas and Thorne (Winsor Harmon) could -- meaning there will probably be a lot of business drama ahead once Thomas returns to town.
Pierson will make his debut on July 27.
