Hot on the heels of trips to the United Arab Emirates and France, The Bold and the Beautiful has confirmed a July Soap Central report that it is headed overseas to the Netherlands.
"While in the Netherlands for a Forrester Creations photo shoot, one couple finds love while another is falling apart," B&B's executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell announced. "The action takes place over seven episodes, and we are very excited about showcasing the beauty of Amsterdam during our shoot."
Fans can try to infer which couples might be the ones in various states of relationship from the list of cast members that will be involved in the shoot: Ashleigh Brewer (Ivy Forrester), Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer), Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer), and Kim Matula (Hope Logan Spencer) will take part.
Additionally, Dutch actor and singer Ferry Doedens has also signed on to guest star as Forrester Creations' local public relations executive, a role created especially for episodes filmed in Amsterdam.
To help make the trips abroad cost effective, The Bold and the Beautiful has been hiring local production companies to assist in its remote shoots. While in Amsterdam, Netherlands-based Stepping Stone Productions will assist the B&B crew.
The Bold and the Beautiful has been broadcast in the Netherlands on RTL since the 1990s.
While in Amsterdam, several past and present B&B actors will take to the stage for THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL Live!, an event that will give fans a unique peek into the behind-the-scenes world of the daytime drama. The show will feature interaction between fans and the cast, including the chance to ask questions as well as revelations about the actors' private lives and projects outside of the series.
The event, to be held October 4, will feature Scott Clifton, Thorsten Kaye, Kim Matula, John McCook, Heather Tom, and Hunter Tylo, and will take place at Theater Vredenburg Leidsche Rijn in Utrecht, just outside Amsterdam.

This is just one of the many adventures The Bold and the Beautiful has taken in recent years. In March, the CBS soap filmed for three days in the United Arab Emirates. In May, B&B traveled to Paris to mark the 25th anniversary of the show being broadcast in France. In 2012, The Bold and the Beautiful ventured to Puglia, Italy.
The episodes in the Netherlands will be taped the first week of October and will air in the U.S. in November. Fans in the Netherlands will have to wait a bit longer; the scenes won't air there until 2015.
