Hartley, Mathison headed to Prospect Park

Two All My Children players have signed on to appear in Prospect Park's planned web version of the soap. Cameron Mathison and Lindsay Hartley are the first AMC stars to agree to continue with the show after it wraps its run on ABC.

As All My Children begins its final week on ABC, there is some good news about the show's post-ABC future. Two of the show's stars have signed on for the planned web-based version of the soap.

Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery) and Lindsay Hartley (Cara Castillo) have signed deals that will have them continue on with All My Children when it begins airing on Prospect Park's still-unnamed Internet channel.

"This marks the first confirmation of cast members since Prospect Park began planning for [All My Children] to live on the new online network beyond its final televised date on ABC this week," Prospect Park said in a statement.

Last week, Mathison revealed on ABC's Good Morning America that Prospect Park had entered into talks with several AMC cast members about continuing with the show.

"Just as soaps were very pivotal in the transition from radio to television, they will be right in the thick of things again in the transition from television to the Internet," Mathison said at the time, noting that the talks were "looking very good."

Hartley first appeared on All My Children in December 2010. Prior to that, she spent nine years as Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald on Passions. Hartley appeared for one year as Arianna Hernandez on Days of our Lives.

There has been no word on other stars who might be interested in remaining part of the AMC family. Susan Lucci (Erica Kane) has reportedly turned down an offer to appear on the web-based version of the soap, but there has been no official word on Lucci's status from either the actress or Prospect Park.
