OLTL alum Judith Light to receive star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Former One Life to Live star Judith Light (ex-Karen Wolek) has been named a part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame class of 2019.

A new group of entertainment professionals will be receiving stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and former One Life to Live star Judith Light (ex-Karen Wolek) is part of the esteemed group to get the honor in 2019.

The selection list was revealed via a live stream on the Walk of Fame's official website and includes big names like Robert De Niro, Anne Hathaway, Tyler Perry, Lucy Liu, Mandy Moore, Dianne Wiest, and others.

Light, who got her start in the entertainment world as OLTL's Karen back in 1977, is being honored in the Live Theater/Live Performance category for her impressive work on stage. Some of her theater credits include God Looked Away (which costarred The Young and the Restless' Miles Gaston Villanueva [Luca Santori]), All the Ways to Say I Love You, Lombardi, and A Doll's House.

"The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is pleased to announce our newest honorees to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Committee always tries to select a group of talented honorees that appeal in various genres of the entertainment world," said Chairman and Walk of Famer Vin Di Bona. "I feel the Committee has outdone themselves and I know the fans, tourists and the Hollywood community will be pleased with our selections. We are excited to see each and every honoree's face as they unveil that majestic star on Hollywood's most famous walkway!"

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an internationally recognized Hollywood icon. With approximately thirty star ceremonies annually broadcast around the world, the constant reinforcement provided to the public has made the Walk of Fame a top visitor attraction. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce continues to add stars to the Walk of Fame as the representative of the City of Los Angeles.
